What time do we meet?

All pickup/meeting times will be 6 a.m. unless otherwise indicated by Captain Chuck.

Capt. Chuck will speak with you the day before your fishing charter to coordinate meeting time, location and what your fishing goals are for your trip.

What happens if we have to cancel?

We understand that things happen!

In the event that you need to cancel your fishing charter with us, we only ask that you provide us with 24 hours notice of cancellation and we will provide a full refund.

What if it rains or there's bad weather?

The bad news is: Sometimes it rains.
The good news is: We fish rain or shine!

However, we do want everyone to be safe. In the event that your Captain chooses to call off your fishing charter due to poor weather or other conditions, we’ll do our best to reschedule your charter.

If for travel or other reasons you are unable to reschedule with us, we’ll provide a 100% refund of any amounts already paid.

We have all required life jackets and safety equipment including kids life jackets.

Striped Bass or Rockfish are our main target on our Chesapeake Bay fishing charters but we do catch other species including:

  • and more…

Please visit our “targeted species” page to learn more about what we fish for on our Chesapeake Bay and Eastern Shore fishing charters.

Can we keep the fish we catch?

Yes, however keeping different fish species may be seasonal – so ask your Captain which fish can be kept at the time of your charter.

Your Captain will clean your fish and bag it for you! We recommend bringing a cooler that you can keep in your car, while on your charter, to keep your fish fresh for the ride home!

Are we allowed to tip the Captain?
Absolutely! Captain Chuck works extremely hard to provide his guests with the best fishing experiences possible.

Customarily, gratuities for a Professional Guide/Captain are 20%+ of the cost of your charter.
Do we need fishing licenses?

Nope!

Your Charter has all of the licenses and permits you’ll need for your fishing charter and are included for your trip.

Can we bring alcohol on a fishing charter?

Yes. We even supply an iced-down cooler to keep your drinks chilly!

We just ask that you drink responsibly and leave the glass containers at home.
